Even Our Building Has A Story To Tell

Housed within the newly restored, historic Bluitt Building in Downtown Dallas, our creative studios are a mix of design styles creating a vintage, rustic French feel. Built in 1904 by Dr. Benjamin Bluitt, a successful African American physician and entrepreneur, it was the first medical clinic in Dallas to serve black patients. When HealeyGrisham purchased the building in 2003, it was just a shell with lots of natural light and a great story.

Distinctions & Creature Comforts

Natural LightTwo levels of the three-floor building have gorgeous natural sunlight that shines in from the 22 oversized windows.

Gourmet KitchenEquipped with Viking appliances, a Traulsen commercial refrigerator and freezer, topped off with concrete counter tops and an 18th century French drapers table that serves as an island. The kitchen is designed to be functional as well as a delight to work in. Stylists love our apron front farmer’s sink with the pull down hand spray. We even had a professional chef stock the kitchen with every conceivable tool. The space is ideal for prepping for food photography and as a beautiful backdrop to shoot in.
